Job Description

Bulk Inventory Transport

  1. Transporter will be trained in all safety and security expectations for delivery and driving, following the safe transport of cannabis policy and procedure.

  2. Responsible for following all regulatory requirements for the transportation of cannabis; training will be provided to ensure compliance.

  3. Responsible for observing and helping safely load and unload at each facility.

  4. Movement of plants/clones and harvested cannabis between facilities on recurring scheduled intervals.

  5. Movement of various in-store and office supplies between facilities as needed.

  6. Movement of finished goods to retail.

  7. Transferring to and from farms of fresh or cured bulk cannabis or materials for harvest.

  8. Cash handling. 

  9. Obey all traffic laws and operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Inventory Processing and Support

  1. Assist Inventory Team with unloading of deliveries at multiple facilities.

  2. Ensure accuracy and accountability of inventory transfers. 

  3. Assist Inventory Team with preparing and stocking products as needed.

  4. Other associated tasks to improve efficiency of Inventory.

Driver Ambassador

  1. Collect cash payments and make accurate change.

  2. Provide exceptional customer service by phone, text and in-person to our vendors and customers.

  3. Develop and maintain rapport with our customers, partners and staff.

  4. Ensure vendor/customer concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate their requests and/or challenges to a manager when needed.

In All Facets

  1. Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.

  2. Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.

  3. Perform other related work as required.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Available to work varied hours/days, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events.

  2. Ability to adhere to the highest customer service standards at all times.

  3. Ability to communicate clearly, honestly and effectively with customers and staff in all situations.

  4. Strong problem solving, customer service and interpersonal skills.

  5. Strong math skills for cash handling.

  6. Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

  11. Maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.

  12. Must have a clean driving history, specifically, no more than one moving violation or at-fault non major accident in the last year and no more than 2 in the last three years, and no major violations in the last 5 years.

This is a NON-MEDICATING position. At no time during any shift may a Transporter or Driver Ambassador be under the influence of cannabis or any other controlled substance. That means cannabis may not be used before starting, during worked hours, or during any breaks or meal periods. Failure to comply may result in serious legal, financial and professional consequences.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, cash handling and customer service experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background check. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Valid California Driver’s License for at least two years with no more than one point moving violation or major at fault accident in the last year or two in the last three years. Drivers must provide authorization for Parc to obtain MVR (Motor Vehicle Record). TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a motor vehicle and basic office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires healthy vision (aided or unaided) sufficient for safe driving with the ability to see color and adjust focus. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a busy warehouse, in a motor vehicle, in public, at customer/vendors warehouse or retail locations, or at remote farm locations throughout the state. The work environment may be very loud, fluctuating between extreme cold and hot temperatures. Involves frequent contact with staff and the public. Work may be stressful at times and may include dealing with difficult vendors/customers and/or law enforcement. Available to work varied hours/days, including on-call or with short notice, late nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events.
