SoLa Impact is looking for passionate and driven Social Impact Interns to join our dynamic team this summer! With multiple internship opportunities available—including Administration, IT & Tech, Social Impact, and Teaching —this is your chance to turn your skills into action and contribute to meaningful change.

Location: The Beehive, 961 E. 61st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90001
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Flexible hours available!)

🛠️ Available Internship Tracks (Choose Your Path!)
🎯 Administration & Operations – Gain experience in project management, event planning, and nonprofit administration while supporting our Social Impact initiatives.
💻 IT & Tech – Assist with tech solutions, digital infrastructure, and IT support for our educational programs and workforce development initiatives.
💡 Social Impact & Community Engagement – Work directly with community partners, coordinate outreach programs, and support initiatives aimed at economic mobility.
📚 Teaching & Youth Programs – Help develop and facilitate educational programs for students, focusing on STEM, entrepreneurship, and career readiness.

📋 What You’ll Be Doing (Your Role in Action)

  • 🎯 Assist in planning and executing social impact programs that benefit underserved communities
  • 📊 Conduct research and data analysis to track program success and community impact
  • 🤝 Engage with community partners, local organizations, and stakeholders
  • 💻 Support IT infrastructure and provide tech assistance for program initiatives
  • 📚 Develop and teach workshops focused on professional skills, education, and workforce development
  • 🎤 Assist in organizing community events, job fairs, and mentorship programs
  • 📝 Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support program initiatives
  • 🏗️ Collaborate with the Social Impact team in the planning and execution of community development projects and initiatives
  • 🔎 Assist in conducting research on social impact trends, community needs assessments, and program evaluation
  • 📑 Support the preparation of reports and documentation related to social impact activities and outcomes
  • 🏛️ Attend meetings and participate in discussions about social impact strategies, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement
  • 📈 Aid in maintaining accurate records and data tracking for social impact metrics and performance indicators
  • 🎭 Assist with the coordination of community events, workshops, and outreach programs
  • 🔄 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social impact considerations into business practices and decision-making processes
  • 📢 Contribute to social media and communications efforts to raise awareness of SoLa Impact's social impact initiatives

Requirements

🎓 What We’re Looking For (The Ideal Intern)

  • Currently enrolled in a Business, Nonprofit Management, IT, Education, Social Work, Communications, or related degree program

  • 💻 Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or tech platforms is a plus!

  • 🤝 Passion for social impact, education, and community development

  • 🏆 Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • 🎯 A proactive mindset with a desire to drive meaningful change

  • 🔍 Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
